INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOSPIRITUAL COACHING
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ARE YOU CURRENTLY TAKING ON NEW CLIENTS?

Yes! You can book a free intro call anytime without commitment.

I LIVE IN [INSERT ANY LOCATION], ARE WE ABLE TO WORK TOGETHER?

Yes! I work with clients all over the world.

HOW MUCH DO SESSIONS COST? DO YOU OFFER A SLIDING SCALE?

Session cost varies to individual needs. My standard rate for sessions is $150/hour.

The rate includes our time together, the recording, and a detailed follow up with notes & prompts for reflection. Great care has been taken to arrive at an amount that supports me in my ongoing work, acknowledges the time spent in prep/session/follow-up and overhead costs, and still feels fair and in line with standards I see in the world.

That said, accessibility is very important to me. I offer sliding scale options for those who need financial support. The idea of the sliding scale is that those who can pay more offset the cost for those who have limited income, and that this can always shift to reflect what is going on in one’s financial life.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds, so always schedule an intro call and we can discuss options.

DO YOU REQUIRE ANY KIND OF ONGOING COMMITMENT?

A core tenant of my practice is a combo of the importance of frequency and accountability in order to go really deep and also the deepest trust in the belief that we meet when/if/for the exact amount we are supposed to. I believe this about all relationships. There is no way any relationship “should” be, just “what is” and “what is” is perfect.

I have seen time and time again that consistency is the key to creating change and my regular clients experience the most transformation in this work. This being said, I don’t require any kind of commitment from clients regarding frequency or consistency. We can drop in once every 6 months or every week and I am here for it all, whatever best serves you.

HOW DOES COACHING DIFFER FROM TALK THERAPY?

This obviously differs depending on one’s experience in therapy and with differing therapists, as no two are the same or have the same approach. My approach to coaching builds upon the foundational principles of talk therapy (verbal discussion, listening, advisement, counseling), and takes a holistic, action-oriented approach. I am really mutually invested in my client’s healing journey, growth, and success in achieving their personal goals. We evaluate and touch all the elements of one’s life – physical, mental, and spiritual health & wellbeing, look into the past through a psychology and neuroscience-informed lens, do exercises together, create action steps, and I give homework. We also use modalities for exploring limiting beliefs, subconscious thoughts, memories, and trauma that are most similar to a subconscious visualization journey or hypnotic meditation. I record the sessions (unless the client opts out) and also give detailed recommendations for resources, other modalities, practitioners, etc. as relevant. Additionally, the working structure (cost, cadence, duration, frequency) with each client is unique and takes a very adaptive and flexible approach to best support folks where they are at. I meet with people as much or as little as they are open to and find nutritive.

HOW DID YOU DECIDE TO START COACHING?

This journey and all its ups and downs is what led me to doing so much of my own work to in turn start to want to help others do the same. When I look back now, it’s clear that every step/turn/choice/early interests have led me to this point. It’s also in my Astrology and  Human Design charts, and reflected in my Enneagram type! I feel so grateful that at this time I have found what I feel I am here to do.

I like the notion of “coaching” because we’re all, always, trying to put one foot in front of the other and make sense of this wild ride. I enjoy nothing more than sitting and talking with people and trying to figure it out together. I’m no life expert or authority, but I’ve been through it and found tools and I feel we all need champions and guides to help us move through life and establish what works for us.

It started because I was just naturally helping friends and then that began to grow and I started to realize what was happening. After navigating the imposter syndrome… I knew I needed mentorship and to set boundaries for myself / create a real container. Then I did that for a bit with friends still before bringing it to the greater world like I am now! I have been growing into it and doing this work primarily since May 2022.

HAVE YOU TAKEN CLASSES OR COURSES TO BE A COACH OR ARE YOU SELF TAUGHT?
DO YOU HAVE ANY CERTIFICATIONS?

As of writing this, no! But I wouldn’t say I’m self-taught. I have many coaches, guides, mentors, teachers, and things I’ve learned from across modalities (including different forms of therapy, somatic healing, inner child subconscious rewiring, internal family systems, attachment theory, and more).

I majored in Cognitive Science in undergrad which was a mixture of psychology, neuropsychology, and philosophy. That mixed with a real penchant for learning, reading, discovering in this space is my more ‘formal’ training.

I’m not opposed to credentials or specific courses but I haven’t felt called yet to anything specifically, my radar is open in any area I feel it would benefit me and my clients. There are also a lot of things I want to learn more about, I will be a forever student of life.
